Coral is a bright stone, which is available in Red, pink, and reddish-orange. Carnelian and Bloodstone are substitutes for Coral. Red Coral is considered for planet Mars.

 Benefits of wearing Coral:

By wearing Red Coral, obstacles get removed. It minimizes chances of accidents, disputes and fights. It increases wealth and property and wearer gets free from debt. It brings prosperity and nullifies Kuja Dosha (Mangalik Blemish). Wearer enjoys happy married life. It cures diseases caused by bad effects of malefic mars. Apart from curing boils and pimples, it also purifies blood. Ladies get help during pregnancy and child birth. It increases enthusiasm, affection and love in wearer. It gives success and happiness.

Impact of Coral on diseases :

By wearing Red Coral or using its ash, following diseases get cured – blood related problems, cough, lack of appetite, physical weakness, spleen, epilepsy, heart diseases   etc.

Important instructions for wearing Coral:

Wearer should always wear Red Coral with good luster, clean color and free from blemishes, it will increase fortune. Red Coral should be worn in ring or locket made of gold. It should be in constant touch with the skin, so wearing in ring will be more beneficial. The weight of Red Coral should be 3-11 ratti (minimum 6 ratti). Men should wear stones in right hand and women should wear in left hand. When Moon or Mars is transiting through Aries or Scorpio sign on Tuesday and there is also Mrigshira, Chitra, Anuradha or Dhanishtha castellation on that day, then set Red Coral in ring made of gold between sunrise to 11 AM.

On Tuesday, take a bath and wear clean/fresh clothes. After that, sit in front of the idol of Lord Ganesha to perform worship while facing towards east. First of all, light a lamp filled with Ghee and light some incense sticks, then offer flowers, fruits and sweets to deity. After that, wash the gemstone ring or locket with Panchamrita (mix of milk, curd, ghee, sugar and honey). Now re-wash this gemstone ring or locket with Ganga Jala or pure water and place it to the feet of deity.

Now, recite the beeja mantra of Mars for 19 times. After this, recite dhyan mantra and rigaveda mantra for once. And at the end, recite Angarak ashtottara shatanamavali (108 names of Mars). Now, hold your palms together, close your eyes and concentrate on Lord Mars and kneel down. After that, wear ring in middle finger of left hand or locket around your neck with full faith.

Donation for Coral:

Write Mars Yantra on copper plate, set a Red Coral in the middle of yantra and perform ‘Prana-Pratishtha’. Then enchant the Red Coral by Mars mantra. Worship yantra for continuous 7 days and on 8th day donate yellow cow, gold, wheat, lentil, jaggery, ghee, red cloth, saffron and dakshina to the priest. All the malefic effects gets removed and desires gets fulfilled by donating this way.

Time period for effect of  Coral:

Starting from the day, stone settled in ring, Red Coral remains effective till 3 years 3 days and after that it becomes ineffective. So, wearer should change Red Coral after above time period.
